PULLTEETH LOVES JEREMY SCOTT
So here's to you Jeremy! We love you!

Off The Deep End

T-shirt - Proudrace / Hat - Actual Pain
Another instalment in my dumb video series...a year later. Why just take photos of an outfit when you can dance around in it? If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen I got this Proudrace t-shirt that I blogged about last year that was gifted to me my by sister. It's from a Canadian shop, Lab & ID., run by a few pals of mine. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already..
Happy new year to you all! More posts to come in the future... or at least that's the plan...

It's no secret that I'm a long time fan of Jeremy Scott. Last season my love for him multiplied x 1,000,000 when he presented an internet inspired collection. I mean, seriously? There is literally nothing else I can imagine that would be more up my ally. Owning something from the collection wasn't an option, it was a must. On a recent trip to Montreal I made a visit to the Adidas Originals store and found this shirt from his collaboration line with the brand. I can't think of any other designer who could design a rainbow print keyboard shirt and present it to the masses with a huge company like Adidas. That's what I love about him. Fearless design that's unapologetic. And while I've got you, why not give the Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals video a look. So into it.
So Jeremy, keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep following.

Youth Of The Woods
I thought I'd share one of my all time favorite fashion videos with you guys. I saw this mooooonths ago for the first time and watched it at least once daily for a few weeks. Eventually I forgot about it but it recently came to my attention again and I'm back in the same cycle. I think it's so, so beautiful. I usually lose interest quite quickly with fashion videos but this somehow gets me evvveryyyy time. It's shot in Montreal with perhaps a few familiar faces (hello ssense models & my girl Chloe Wise of Naughty Mess Vintage). Give it a watch and let me know what you think!
Also I should mention I mindlessly gave my camera to a friend traveling to Iceland for a week. I didn't really think about how it would effect my blogging until now, but I figure I might as well make the best of this situation and share things that inspire me! Plus I've got a thing or two that I photographed earlier this week, so I'm not completely S.O.L. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Wait......... what?

Halloween happens to be one of my favorite times of year. Not only do you get to dress like a total slut and get away with it, second hand stores start putting out the best/craziest/zaniest/amazingest (lol) items! I'm not exactly sure why a children's bear costume screamed "BUY ME", but I found myself at the cash register buying it. Glad I did, because when I got home the idea struck me. HAIRY ARMS! Now I know this concept isn't a new one to this blog (how weird is that?) but I'm freaking out about this one, guys! I took the cheaters way out and cut the legs off, snipped a slit on the top of each leg, and snapped them onto the shoulder pieces. Voila! I wasn't about to ruin my favorite motorcycle jacket by gluing them on so this seemed like the most logical idea. As crazy as this looks I'm actually really excited to wear it out. I feel like a mix of motorcycle riding scum bag and Lil' Kim. Can't lose with that combo.
And while we're on the subject of Halloween... What is everyone being? The last two years I had my costumes planned at the beginning of the damn summer. How the hell did October come so fast this year? Any suggestions on what I should be? Right now the only idea I have is covering myself in tattoos, wearing a horse mask, and calling myself Trace Cyrus. Ay yie yie!

man leggings
Song - VW by Late Of The Pier

(all photos from GQ.com)
No one does the man legging like Givenchy. Season after season they deliver newer and greater ways to wear them. Not sure if I'm quite ready to rock a skort yet but the thought is definitely dancing in the back of my mind. Anyone seen any other runway shots with them? Shoot them my way if so!
And in other news, I've been thinking about registering my blog as a domain for a while now. Pullteeth.com was already taken so I held off but this week I finally registered one. Don't worry about updating links or anything because it will just redirect. So, welcome to

I can't resist
Yes, another video. I know, I know. I want to start posting photos again but something is wrong with my Canon Rebel. I was getting an error about my CompactFlash and now it won't even turn on. I'm probably going to see if I can get it to work with a new memory card. Hopefully that works because otherwise I'm screewwweedddd. I can't afford a new camera!

Anyways, here is the best way I could showcase my latest DIY. I came across a dance outfit for $4 at a thrift store and knew I needed to do something with it. It was essentially a velvet bodysuit with a long tassel skirt. So this afternoon I seam ripped the tassels off and stuck them on the sleeves of a hoodie I picked up for $15. Not too bad for under $20, I'd say! It only took me about an hour in total, too. Such a quick and cheap DIY. I LOVE IT!
Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'm lucky enough to have all weekend off which I'm really looking forward to. Pray for me and my camera! Jeeeeeeeez!

I wear eyewear
Here comes the typical "sorry I haven't blogged in so long" speech. SORRY I HAVEN'T BLOGGED IN SO LONG!!! I actually didn't realize how long it was until tonight. Jeez. I could say I was really busy but that would be a lie. I've been moderately busy but in some what of a slum. I think it has to do with the fact that my room is so messy and it's getting to the end of winter. I'm just ready for some spring cleaning and some spring weather. Something to revive my inspiration pulse because fashion week hasn't really but cutting it for me yet. Can't wait for the Jeremy Scott show tomorrow, though!!
Anywho I threw together a little video tonight. I have a box full of sunglasses and I usually forget to wear most of them. So, here is a quick video of 20 pairs of glasses :)

And just as I thought I was getting over studs, Gaga had to step out with this creation
My fingers hurt just THINKING about trying to stud that. OUCH. Would be soooo worth it, though. That thing is beauuutiful.
Also if you guys have a minute you should check out the new issue of Vinyl & Vodka. It's got the cutest valentines day themed photoshoot and a great interview with HEALTH. Click the cover to read it or visit the blog at vinylandvodka.com.

iamamiwhoami
Has anyone else been following the mysterious videos of iamamiwhoami?? There is so much speculation about these damn videos. Personally, I can't get enough of it. So here's the lowdown. Nobody knows who these viral videos are for and there are theories about them being to promote an artists new album. The most prevalent guesses are Gaga (I don't believe it), Goldfrapp (don't believe it either) and most of all Christina Aguilera. I was really into the idea of it being Xtina when I first saw them but quickly wrote them off. Too extreme for her image. But as more and more clues are released I'm starting to believe it. Take a look for yourself:
Clue 1: This image uploaded on the Sony BMG website with the extension /Christina_Aguilera/Promo_Album.jpg
Clue 2: If you add up all of the numbers before a decimal and attach a letter to its corresponding number (A=1, B=2, C=3, etc.) you’ll notice that each video has a distinct message:
Prelude 699130082.451322 = (38.17) = (CH.AG) = CH. AG.
9.1.13.669321018 = I. A. M. CH.
9.20.19.13.5.723378 = I.T.S.M.E.C.
I'm starting to really believe this is her!! There are a ton of clues though I haven't been following very closely. If you're interested check out the Christina Aguilera tag on ONTD. Pretty interesting read if you're bored and home alone on a Saturday night like me!

I ordered this jacket from Nasty Gal last week and it arrived today. I really love it, you can wear it so many different ways. I was going to just take some photos but my SLR isn't working so I thought I would record a quick video instead. Hope you guys like it!

Fake Everything

I've really liked the House of Holland x Levis jeans ever since they were in his S/S 09 collection, but I never gave a thought about actually owning a pair. But for some reason recently I felt like I just neeeeded them. Obviously, my mind immediately went to what it knows best.. DIY!! These came together in one night, and pretty seamlessly! (unlike most of my other DIY projects)
I thought I would give some step by step instructions for anyone who is wanting to try this out. It really is inexpensive (I spent a total of $8) nor time consuming. Give it a try!!

What you'll need:
- A pair of jeans (mine are second hand Levi's, lighter the wash the better)
- Two sharpies (as thick as you can find as well as regular size)
- Round object to trace (mine was 6cm)
- Exact-o knife
- Ruler
- Thin cardboard or poster paper
- Tape (optional)

Trace the circle you want and very carefully cut it with your exacto knife. Be sure to take your time because having a good stencil will really help you in the long run. After cutting mine out, I lined the edges with regular scotch tape, just to make it a little more durable for when I was tracing.

Decide where you want your first line of polka dots to begin. Measure your circle before choosing your size and make sure it is very close to a regular measurement. (ie 6 cm) It's really going to help you in the long run with measuring out your polka dots.
On the jeans, start marking dots every 6 inches (or however big your dots are), These will be the top and bottom of your circle. I would recommend doing an entire row of dots before starting to draw in your circles. I suggested having two sharpies because it's hard to trace and accurate circle with a thick one, but when you're coloring it in you'll really enjoy having a thicker one.

Once you've done your first line, you'll have to decide how far apart you want your polka dots to be. For me, I placed my ruler halfway through my current line of circles and it worked out to be the perfect spacing me. All you'll have to do is transfer the dots (which will now be the top and bottom of your drawn in circles) on your new line. If you did your first one properly you're circles should be equal distances apart, the same size as your circles, leaving the perfect amount of space for your new dots. Figuring out how far apart you want them is tough the first but you'll be able to get the hang of it.
From then on, it's pretty redundant. You'll start to get the hang of it and figure out what works for you. I ended up tracing out all the circles and coloring them in after.

And there you have it! Your very own House of Holland x Levis jeans for about 1% of the price.
And, as a special bonus, I recorded a VIDEO! I've never worked with video and it is pretty overwhelming but I like my little project I threw together. I've been interested in venturing into ~film~ after seeing Lady Gaga's Monster Ball to be honest, so many cool videos! So inspiring. (see the opening number here, so cool!)

Mindless Sunday Thoughts

(H&M patchwork denim & a lot of Christmas reading)
Anyone else addicted to buying magazines? I have my free Nylon subscription, my V & V Man subscriptions, and I always buy Nylon Guys. On top of that I buy any other magazines that catch my eye/have anyone I'm remotely interested in (sup Miley) sooooo now I'm stuck with a million magazines to read and never seem to find the time to read them. These ones are the select few I found on my floor while cleaning my room recently. I'm positive there are more hanging around unread too. The Pop is unreal though, I flipped through it and I think it was a good investment. Regardless, I've got to support the other bloggers too! You go Tavi
Speaking of Tavi.. I couldn't care less about the Rodarte for Target line since I'm not really sure how well the Rodarte aesthetic will translate to mass production... The thing I like about Rodarte in the first place is their intricate detail/leather work/ect. BUT, having said that, I can't get enough of this video! I think it really captures how young Tavi is so perfectly. I thought most of her hate was jealousy to begin with, but after seeing this I can't comprehend hating her. SHE IS A CHILD!!!! AND SO SMART! AND SO WELL SPOKEN!! AND A CHILD!!!!! RAHHHH!!!
Hope you all had a good weekend! Keep on keepin'

USE BEFORE/ DEC. 1979
So, my aunt happened upon a package of SX-70 film from 1979. I've been dying to test out my SX-70 camera since the day I bought it, but obviously like a fool I decided to wait until the summer to get 600 film and use that. To my luck Polaroid decided to stop making all instant film which was a royal pain in the ass. (especially since I was in denial at first so I didn't stock up)
Anywho, me and my lovely cousin put the film in my camera and nothing happened. The diagnosis was a dead battery. So, we sat in a dark room in my basement and transferred the film from the original package to an empty one. We were successful in that so we started taking photos around my room. Here is the outcome:

Lesson of the day? Don't wait 29 years to use your Polaroid film.
