Daniel Palillo A/W 2011

One look at Daniel Palillo's lookbook for his A/W 2011 collection called "Talking Heads" and I immediately saw myself in everything. With a little help from my friend Nick from Elixe and his photoshop skills, seeing myself in the collection is much easier! (and slightly creepier...)

I've been a fan of Daniel's since the Welcome Hunters days (RIP) and have been eying some of his pieces on Shop Fatal ever since. I love the idea of a line that doesn't have a specific customer or gender. I think the pieces are really interchangeable between men and women but still maintain a really cool, easy silhouette. Not an easy feat! Daniel does it again with the latest collection of unisex looks. I hate that I don't own anything from this or any of the other collections yet, but after trying a few looks on (ha!) I think it's obvious it's a good fit. Looks like it's about time I got myself something!
But in the meantime I think I should turn off my computer before these photos make my head explode. Too weird.

This Is What Dreams Are Made O(a)f

I've been doing lots of online window shopping lately, and one of my favorite sites to drool over is Lazy Oaf. It's not really the style I've been going for but everything is so damn cute. Their pieces have such a sense of humor which I love in clothes. (half this stuff reminds me of Kylie) Here are a few of my favorite pieces

On another note.. I've been obsessed with the idea of ~man sequins~ for a long time now but I haven't figured out how to do it properly yet. It's hard to find the balance between masculine and feminine without looking like a drag queen and that's not really the look I'm going for...

I can't remember where I found this picture, but I think it works because this guy looks like a MAN. Why GOD WHYYYY CAN'T I GROW FACIAL HAIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!?!!

Love these Jeremy Scott sequin sequin sweatpants which are totally out of my budget, but available on ebay for those of you who are rich/have a sugar daddy

These ASOS Sequin Print Joggers are a little more moderately priced, especally for such a crazy piece I probably won't get much wear out of. These might be the winners to try this look out (although I'm not the biggest fan of the zipper pockets.. hmm.....)
I know this is a little out there, so let the anonymous hate begin!

I'll leave you with a tribute to the King of the man sequin, Michael Jackson

Edit: Totally forgot this image. Sooooo so soo perfect. I love the fit of these:

Jeremy Scott in 3D (or maybe not...)

While in Vancouver last week I stopped by the Adidas Originals store, just to look! (or so I told myself) Went in and tried on an entire Jeremy Scott outfit... just for fun! (or so I told myself) Left the store without buying anything but returned about a half hour later to buy these pants. I couldn't resist!!! I figured I wouldn't have another chance so I splurged a bit. I don't mind spending a bit more than I'm used to on pieces I really like lately. I'm so happy I got these. AH!! And I got the idea from Raez to try 3Ding myself but didn't have any 3D glasses laying around so I followed a Wikihow tutorial on how to make your own... They didn't really turn out. (click) Anyone else have 3D glasses laying around? Give it a try!!

And perfect timing, right after I get home Nylon releases the first photos of the new Jeremy Scott x Adidas collaboration. I loveeeeeeee it all!! Better start saving my pennies.

Online Shopping @ ASOS

I've been doing a lot of browsing on the ASOS site lately. I have one special thing I am getting to wear to Lady Gaga in Vancouver (ps, did I mention I'm going VIP to Lady Gaga? With my best friend Stefanie of Guns At Home fame, who is now blogging again!? SO much exciting news! I'm not going to post what I'm ordering because I want my outfit to be a ~surprise~. It's worth the wait I think!? All the photos are linked too, so as always feel free to go ahead and order any of this stuff for me.

Anyways, here are some of my favorite pieces from the Unconditional line. This first coat, I DIE. (as Rachel Zoe would say) It's so incredible, I really wish I could afford a $700 coat. So the next best thing is to post it here so I can look at it every day. SIGH.

Here are a few more moderately priced pieces I loveeeeeeeeee. The ASOS jewelry line is incredible, especially the prices. Here's some for the ladies.. or the men? I'm thinking of buying the spiked necklace to be honest.

A chain bracelet for $13.95?! Can't beat that!! God I love ASOS

And I will leave you with an almost affordable leather cuff. So beautiful! Only $87 too, which isn't too expensive but I never wear bracelets and I know this wouldn't get enough love if I got it.

Hopefully some of you guys have a bit more disposable income than I do. Especially after buying VIP Lady Gaga tickets, I have to be careful of how I spend my money.
