Pullteeth for H&M Fashion Against Aids Contest

Here they are! The goodies for my H&M Fashion Against Aids contest. Not a bad haul, is it? If you got in for part one of my contest then great, but if not, this is last your chance. I was deciding if I should make the contest hard or not but I figure blog contests can sometimes be the worst. I'm not going to make you follow me on Blogger, Twitter, Facebook, Blog Lovin', annnnd every other social media outlet imaginable. Since the inspiration for the collection is music festivals I figured it would be fun to have you..

Comment here with your favorite music festival/concert experience.

That's it. That's all.
The contest will close this coming Saturday, April 21st @ Midnight so make sure to get your comment in by then. Leave me your name and email so I know where to contact you if you're the lucky winner.
Also, if you already entered the first part of my contest, feel free to enter this part as well.

PS: Please make sure to go and upload your kiss photo on the official Fashion Against Aids website. For each photo H&M is donating $1 to Aids Prevention! Important stuff!

Contest now closed!! Winner will be announced shortly!

Pullteeth for H&M Fashion Against Aids

Good news, everyone! I'm teaming up with H&M for their upcoming Fashion Against Aids line. "How is this going to affect me" you may wonder. Well, it's easy. H&M is providing me with accessories from the new collection to give away to one of my beautiful, incredible, amazing readers. Yes, that means you. The contest is going to run in two parts, the first comes with an added perk. Just follow these easy steps:

1. Comment on this post with your email address & name (even under anonymous)
2. Wait for me to send you an exclusive invite to the H&M Fashion Against Aids micro site
3. That's it! Easy peasy.

The micro site is a fun, easy way to spread awareness & raise money for aids research and prevention. The concept is simple. Upload a photo of yourself kissing someone else. (Think girlfriend, boyfriend, mom, cousin, best friend, pet, stranger, tree... anyone!!) H&M will graciously donate $1 to aids prevention for every photo uploaded. How easy is that?! The site doesn't launch to the public until April 5th, so this is the real business. Exclusive stuff for my readers. Gotta love it.

Like I said, this is just phase one of the contest. Shortly, I am going to do a full on contest and I will be closing this one. Perhaps think of this as a pre-contest that is incredibly easy, plus gives you the added bonus of entry into micro site before annnnnybody else. Pretty cool. Who knows, I might even make part two of the contest extremely difficult, so this might be your only opportunity to enter if you're lazy like me. (Okay, I probably won't.. but you get the point)

Who doesn't love free stuff? Enter nooooow for your chance to win a mystery bag of accessories from H&M!
May the odds be ever in your favor...

Part one of the contest is now CLOSED!
Stay tuned for Part 2
(including photos of the prizes!! omgggggg)

Reporting to you LIVE from Toronto

Hey all. Just a quick update from the beautiful city of Toronto. I've been doing a lot of shopping and a lot of eating (which is okay with me) Here's a few things I notice about Toronto and my stay in general
  • People in the prairies are more polite
  • Doc Martens are not appropriate for walking
  • H&M is nice and good and pretty
  • I am bad at packing
  • I don't take photos anymore
  • Toronto is nice, I could live here
Okay so I thought I would show you my favorite purchase so far.. how sweet is this windbreaker/poncho from H&M?
Notice my snarky little smile in the first picture. I'm pretty pleased with myself on this find.
But the cream of the crop of my shopping stories goes hands down to this next one... I was shopping solo this afternoon and I thought I would give Urban Outfitters a second chance. (I came out empty handed the first run) I went to the sale section and was looking through jeans. I've wanted a pair of light colored denim for a while and I found a pair of Cheap Mondays that were definitely worn before. They had no tags so I took them to the front and asked how much they would charge me for them. The manager said since they were clearly worn I could just take them. How crazy is that? They were my size and I'm wearing them right now to be honest.
More updates when I return home on Tuesday. Bye bye
