711 New Years

Sitting at my friend Emma's house trying to decide what to do for New Years Eve, we came up with the most logical solution. Go to 711 and buy a disposible camera and ring in the new year there. So, that's what we did. I can tell this decade is going to be a good one, if this is any indication.

Wearing the beautiful shoulder epilette I purchased from Kylie of Nice and Shiny! God I love this thing

New Years Resolutions (two weeks late)

One of my new years resolutions should have been to stop procrastinating, but it not this year. Maybe next... ha. Anyhow, I did come up with my top 3 list of things I would like to accomplish in 2009. I know it's wrong to start with a bad attitude but I don't really know if I'll keep up. Here's hoping!
I saw this editorial and it got me thinking. It's basically this dude on what seems to be a solo vacation. It had me thinking, I really would like to travel alone. Maybe meet up with someone along the way, maybe go with just one other person, but I think it would be amazingly fulfilling to take a trip alone. I feel like I would get to know myself better (Oh God I'm getting Oprah on you guys) Reguardless, travel is in the agenda for 2009 (solo or not)
Ah, yes. Elementary school level french isn't cutting it for me. I downloaded Rosetta Stone as a first step in this journey. I may as well be doing something productive while sitting in front of this computer. Also I want that whole exact same outfit.
This one is tough. I don't know if I can actually do it... I love me some Big Macs. A friend of mine had a good system. Fast food only on weekends. Seems simple enough, right? This one is going to take serious commitment, though. No cheating!

Things that didn't make the cut:
  • Take more photos
  • Read more books (other than the Twilight series)
  • Decide what the hell I'm doing with my life
  • Get my license (I still probably will this year)
What were your new years resolutions? Think you'll stick with them?
